Logo design in Newcastle
I'm Charlie, an independent logo designer in County Durham, working with businesses across Newcastle, Durham and the North East. You deal with me from the first call to the final files, and a logo starts from £100.
What you get
A logo that works where your customers will actually see it: on a van, a sign, a sticker, a phone screen and a browser tab. Not just a picture that looks nice on a white page.
Vector files
Artwork that scales to any size without going fuzzy, plus everyday image files for social media and email.
Colour and mono versions
Versions for different backgrounds: colour, black and white. Colour codes for print and for screen.
A short usage guide
So your printer, your sign writer or whoever does your social media uses it the same way.
Full usage rights
Once the project's paid for, the design is yours to use anywhere, in writing.
How it works
A first conversation
Usually a phone call. Who your customers are, where they'll see your logo and what isn't working now. You don't need a brief.
A fixed quote
One figure in writing before anything starts, with what's included and how many rounds of changes you get.
First ideas
Most first drafts are with you in 5 to 10 working days. You see a few directions, each shown the way it would really be used.
Changes, then files
Pick a direction, I refine it, and you get the full set of files and the rights to use them.
How much logo design costs

Global Outdoor Design
Rebrand · near FerryhillA driveway and patio firm. The mark is seven paving blocks laid in a diamond, the way a herringbone drive goes down, built to work on a van, a polo shirt, a pavement sign and a browser tab.
Pilot IQ
Logo refresh · managed ITAn updated version of the logo they had. The Q is a gold ring, and the dot and the tail inside it also make an i, so the IQ sits in one shape. The Q works on its own as the favicon.
ADL Consultancy
Logo refresh · compliance consultancyThey had an idea they liked. The blue ellipse stayed, ADL went to bold capitals so it reads first, and they got a main logo, a version without the strapline, a text logo and a favicon.
Punt Caravan Parking
New logo · Costa BravaA single line-weight mark of a caravan on a mountain road, drawn so it still reads as a die-cut sticker barely bigger than a bottle cap.
Logo design FAQs
How much does a logo cost?
A standalone logo design is £100 to £250 on my Starter tier. A full brand identity built from scratch is quoted per project. Either way you get one fixed figure in writing before anything starts.
How long does a logo take?
Most first drafts are with you in 5 to 10 working days, depending on the job. You see a few directions rather than one guess.
What files will I get?
Vector files that scale to any size, everyday image files for social media and email, colour and black and white versions, colour codes for print and screen, a short usage guide, and full rights to use the design in writing.
Do I need a new logo or a refresh?
If customers already recognise your logo, a refresh usually keeps that and makes it cleaner and easier to use. If the business itself has changed, a rebrand makes more sense. There's more in refresh or rebrand.
Do I need a logo or a full brand identity?
If only you use it and it goes on a handful of things, a logo will do. If printers, sign writers or a team use it too, you want the whole system. Read logo or brand identity.
