Terms of use
The ground rules for using this website: what you can do with its content, what the prices mean and what the Brand Lab can and can’t promise.
About these terms
These terms cover your use of charliegstudio.com, which is run by Charlie Jemmett, trading as Charlie G Studio, County Durham, England. By using the site you accept them. If you don’t, please don’t use the site.
Using the site
You’re welcome to browse, read and share links to anything here. Please don’t misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, gain access to parts of it you shouldn’t, or use the contact forms to send spam.
Who owns the content
The design, text, illustrations and images on this site belong to Charlie G Studio unless stated otherwise. You can’t copy, reproduce or reuse them without my written permission, beyond sharing a link or a short quote with credit.
The work shown in the portfolio was made for clients, and their names, logos and trade marks belong to them. They are shown here to illustrate the studio’s work.
Prices and quotes
Prices on this site are a guide to what things usually cost. Every job is quoted in writing before it starts, and the written quote and the terms agreed for that project are what apply. Nothing on the website on its own is an offer to do work at a set price.
The Brand Lab
The Brand Lab suggests business names as ideas only. I don’t check or promise that a name is available as a company name, web address or social media handle, or that it is free of anyone else’s trade mark. Please check Companies House, domain and handle availability and the trade mark register before using a name, and take legal advice if the name matters a lot to your business.
Blog and guidance
The blog and guides on this site are general information from my own experience. They aren’t legal, financial or other professional advice, so please don’t rely on them as such.
Links to other sites
Where the site links to other websites, including client sites, I don’t control them and I’m not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Availability and liability
I try to keep the site accurate and working, but I can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, I’m not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes and the law that applies
I may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute.
